2025: Seed, Time, and (Supernatural) Harvest

Sacred Season is here!

Sacred Season is a specific time for our church family to put first things first. We acknowledge God as our priority by fasting those things that are not sacred to demonstrate our desire for the Lord! The Israelites demonstrated a similar devotion when bringing their first fruits offerings to God and committing themselves to sacred assemblies.

During the feast of Bikkurim and that of Shavuot, the Jews would bring in the first and best of their harvests as offerings to bless the Lord. We are starting our 2025 off right: We are giving God the first part of our year, dedicating ourselves to prayer, worship, bible study, fasting, and generosity.

It’s important we refocus as we move forward into the new year. God honors our faith with the greatest gift; we become more aware of His presence and voice. This 21-day WS First church fasting, and prayer season is special.

Please consider what/how you would like to fast from now until January 26, 2025:

1. Daniel Fast: eliminating meat and sweets/alcohol from your diet.
2. Liquid Fast: soups and shakes only.
3. Media Fast: eliminating social media/entertainment.
4. Sunup to Sundown: eating only predawn and after dusk.
5. Modified Fast: a personal sacrifice that releases your time for prayer.
6. One Meal: give up one meal per day for prayer and scripture study.

We will pray each day from 12 noon to 1 pm in the auditorium. All are welcome!
We will have a concert of worship and prayer each Wednesday evening starting at 6 pm
We will have a night of worship, prayer, and healing on Friday, January 24, 2025 at 6 pm

This is a time to join our church family in prayer. You may come and go as you please as we collectively seek God. If you cannot depart from your workplace to attend our prayer gatherings, please feel free to join us from your location as we pray across distances and boundaries.

Sunday, January 26, 2025, we will come together to culminate the fast for Sacred Sunday! Sacred Sunday is our ceremonial service where we celebrate all God has done and will do in our lives. We bring our Sacrificial Sacred Seed offerings to the Lord and receive an anointing and blessing from the pastors as we give! It’s powerful!

In 2022: Our Theme was “Moving Forward in !” and our proclamation was “Let’s Go!”

In 2023: Our Theme was “Arise and !” and our proclamation was “Arise!”

In 2024: Our Theme is “Unity and Peace!” and our proclamation is “!”
Let’s look at what God is showing us for this year. While the Gregorian calendar states the year is 2025. (Lunisolar)The Jewish calendar aligns with the laws of historic Jewish traditions and the natural cycles of the sun and moon.

I believe God has placed a grace on these calendars because He knows we don’t know how long time has existed…we weren’t there!

Last week, we launched into our Sacred Season with a look at Seed: the word of God. We choose to examine and study the word, embrace the word with others of faith, and share the word of God with as many people as possible.

This week we are going to closely examine the time…the time in which we live and the opportunity of the time God has granted.

According to a commonly held Jewish calendar, the year is 5785. There is deep meaning to these numbers according to their composition.

5 (Hei) a number of grace, atonement, life, the cross, 5-fold ministry, and a window.
We are in the millenium of doors and new directions.

7 (Zayin) a number of perfection, and completeness.
The number/alphabetic alignment of 7 (Zayin) represents perfection and completeness. This number/letter represents the century we are living. This is similar to a Gematria study: assigning significant numbers to letters in the Jewish Alphabet to search out meaning. The Zayin is the picture of a sword: Vav: long straight portion (sword) Yod: Curved portion on top: (crown) Zayin: Crowned Man.

Z sound (in English) but root in Hebrew Zera: “seed” God is taking eternal things and sowing them into the earth! Sword down into the ground…We are in the century of seeds!

8 (Chet) a number of resurrection, life, and new beginnings (fresh breath of God)
We are in the decade of peh. The 80’s represent a time when the mouth is important. What we say has an incredible impact. Even the writing of this number resembles a mouth (Remember to “Chewz” your words!)

5 (Hei) a number of grace, atonement, life, the cross, 5-fold ministry, and a window. (thought and speech) then the Yod…action!

Each letter in Hebrew has a name, a meaning and a numerical value. The number associated is aligning with the Hebrew Gammatrian study.

5784: Year of walking through a door…(TOGETHER) we did!

So church, God has moved us… He has closed doors and opened others for us to go through. Some things we thought were going to be with us for all time, were shut down and closed last year. Some things we wanted closed but hey were opened, and others opened we may have wanted closed…but God is to be praised for He was exalted in our lives!

This year is our year of supernatural harvest! But in order for us to get there we must study the time!

Yod: There is a Yod in every area of the Hebrew dictionary: Action! There is a time between thought, speech and now action!

Hey: Y-H-W-H (Twice in this name)
Can’t say it without breathing: The breath of God

We’ve moved from one position to another and NOW It’s time to get to work! It’s time to take the dream…the shared vision…and put it into action with God!

5785: The year of Action and Working with God (no longer waiting for doors to open) MOVEMENT! Get to work!

Danger: Focusing on our own strength and breath instead of God

Genesis 4:7 (window of opportunity) opening in the figure…a way out of sin…to fulfill the call of God on our lives.

Leavened bread does not last long…it gets puffed up on its own…
Unleavened bread lasts a long time without molding

Het = Sin. No way out but down

Hey = repentance. A way out to receive the breath of God and His presence

So we are experiencing the power of Hei at the beginning and the end. Containing:

Grace
Atonement
Repentance
Ministry
Doors

And now it is happening again but the same breath is being expressed elsewhere…breath in and breath out!

In the breath of God and out the breath of God!

The grace, atonement, repentance, ministry, and doors of opportunity God opened for us he wants us to share to others for their victories (HARVEST!

1 can put 1,000 to flight but 2 can put 10,000 to flight…what is that? Victories and Impact! Supernatural Victory…Harvest!

So church, God has moved us… He has closed doors and opened others for us to go through. Some things we thought were going to be with us for all time, were shut down and closed last year. Some things we wanted closed but hey were opened, and others opened we may have wanted closed…but God is to be praised for He was exalted in our lives!

No it is time to take what we are studying (The Word) from our minds and speak it as the truth so that our world can be reached with the Gospel. And God will bring a harvest beyond what we can imagine! 30 – 60 –100 –1,000 –10,000 times what we sow, we will reap for His Kingdom!

Call to Mind and Speak the Word of God on time every time!

Every single breath coming from and to God! It already is…but will we give Him all the credit with it!??
