Jeremiah to Jesus
- In Scripture, to redeem something is to purchase, ransom, or buy it back.
- In the New Testament, redemption is often tied to the gracious act of purchasing a slave to liberate him or her from bondage.
- Jesus bought us back, or redeemed us, from the curse of the law to liberate us from the bondage of sin and death and to recreate us in his image.
The Lord
- 1 Corinthians 6:19–20
- “I Thank God”
Bridge: Hell lost another one, and I am free!
Chorus: You picked me up You turned me around
And placed my feet on solid ground
I thank the Master I thank the Savior
Because You healed my heart You changed my name
Forever free I’m not the same
I thank the Master I thank the Savior I thank God *
