What is the fuel that powers you?
For the Apostle Paul, the fuel that powered his life was the gospel.
“For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes.”
The fuel for every disciple of Jesus is the gospel.
“For I am not ashamed of the gospel.”
The gospel is other-worldly.
Read 1 Corinthians 1:18
“for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes.”

The potency of the Gospel is greater than any worldly means of achieving salvation of the human soul.
So what is it about the gospel that gives it it’s soul-saving potency?
“For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith.”
The million dollar question: how does Jesus’ righteousness become our righteousness?
“the righteousness of God is revealed from faith for faith, as it is written, ‘the righteous shall live by faith.'” (Habakkuk 2:4)
Some people think I’m plum crazy for believing the gospel, but here’s what they don’t understand…it’s from God…not from me…the gospel is saving me…because it’s God’s power at work in my soul giving me the holy perfection of Jesus in the eyes of God. I can’t prove it, but I know it’s true because it is transforming my life.
