Why are you so afraid?

The Storm Doesn’t Mean You Missed God

Verse: John 16:33 “In this world you will have trouble. But take heart; I have overcome the world.”

Storms don’t reveal God’s absence. They reveal what my faith is anchored to.

Fear Grows Where Trust Leaks

Verse: 1 Peter 5:7 “Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you.”

: Fear doesn’t start with a situation. It starts with a conclusion about God.

Jesus Speaks Peace Before He Fixes Anything

Verse: Philippians 4:7 “The peace of God… will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.”

Jesus doesn’t calm storms to prove the storm is small. He calms them to prove He is big.

Jesus’ Question Isn’t to Shame You but to Free You

Verse: 2 Timothy 1:7 “God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind.”

Faith isn’t the absence of fear. Faith is trusting Jesus while fear is present.

CLOSING PRAYER

“Jesus, I give You my storm.
Give me Your peace.
I trust You again.”
