Spiritual connection with God does not replace the need for human connection.

Ecc 4:9-12 Two are better than one,  because they have a good return for their labor: 10 If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up.  11 Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm. But how can one keep warm alone. 12 Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.

Community doesn’t remove weight, it redistributes it.

Matthew 26:36-38  Then Jesus went with his disciples to a place called Gethsemane, and he said to them, “Sit here while I go over there and pray.” 37 He took Peter and the two sons of Zebedee along with him, and he began to be sorrowful and troubled.38 Then he said to them, “My soul is overwhelmed with sorrow to the point of death. Stay here and keep watch with me.”

James 5: 16  Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.

What stays hidden stays wounded.
