It’s changed by habits.

You don’t drift into good health.
You don’t drift into strong faith.
You don’t drift into purpose.

You drift into distraction.

  • Habits shape your life more than intentions ever do—and God uses small, consistent habits to chisel people into who they were created to be.

Here’s how life works for everyone:

  • Thoughts influence actions
  • Actions repeated become habits
  • Habits shape character
  • Character determines direction
  • Intentions point the way. (What we hope for)

2 Cor 10: 3 For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. 4 The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. 5 We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.

SMALL STEPS, LASTING CHANGE

Zechariah 4:10 (NIV) “Who dares despise the day of small things?”

God doesn’t despise small beginnings.
He specializes in them.

No one needs to change everything today.

But everyone can choose one habit.

One small step.
One decision.

And when people make room through their habits,
God faithfully shapes the rest.
