WEEK 52

SCRIPTURE

(Highlighted story of the week)

He heals their broken hearts  and bandages their wounds. He counts the stars
and knows each of them by name. Our Lord is great and powerful. There is no limit to what he knows.
Psalms 147:3-5

OBSERVATION

(What is this scripture saying?)

The song to the Lord declares the power and awe of His greatness! He’s able to heal our hurting hearts and He knows all the stars by name. His strength and knowledge are limitless!

APPLICATION

(How can I apply this scripture to my life?)

Parents, tell your child(ren):

God is amazing and when we need help or have a question, God knows everything and He can do anything! This is encouraging because we don’t have to worry! We just have to have faith in Him!

Ages 4-6:

Draw a picture of what it looks like for God to be strong and have endless knowledge!

Ages 7-9:

If God knows all the stars by name, how do you think He knows us being made in His image? Write or draw what it means for God to know you like how He knows the stars!

PRAYER

(Parents: Have your child repeat this prayer or pray/write their own prayer.)

“Dear God, it’s amazing how You made all the earth and the universe; and yet, You still choose to love and care for us closer than all the other things You have made. Because of Your might and infinite knowledge, we can trust who You are… a good, good Father. Amen!

Ages 10+

Revelation 19:1-21; Psalm 147:1-20; Proverbs 31:1-7
