The Pursuit – Week 2: Pursue God’s Purpose

We don’t pursue God’s presence to get a relationship — we pursue His presence because we were created for a relationship.

Many believers love God but live unintentionally. Busy, faithful, even moral—but not always purpose-driven.

Title: Pursue God’s Purposes

Ephesians 2:10 ESV

10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.

1. We Are Created on .

“Workmanship” = masterpiece, intentional design.

You don’t chase purpose—you walk into it

John 15:5-8 NIV

2. Purpose Flows From .

Disciples don’t just believe in Jesus— they live on purpose and produce fruit.

Disciples produce fruit because they stay connected.

Proverbs 29:18 KJV

18 Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.

3. Gives Direction to Purpose.

The Spanish translation reads: “Y cuando no hay visión, la gente perece,”

It means that  without guidance or divine revelation (vision), people lose self-control, run wild, and lack moral direction, leading to societal breakdown or spiritual ruin.

God didn’t just save you from something; He saved you for something!
