November 30, 2025
Two By Two
Mark 6:7-13
Mark 6: Two by Two
INTRODUCTION:
Our mission as Fully Devoted Followers of Christ is to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ: in His , by His power, and for His glory.
Three thing Jesus does in the Word over and over again:
· He His people.
What is the Gospel:
The gospel is the good news of Jesus Christ, that He perfectly fulfilled the law, that He sacrificially died for sin, and that He physically rose from the dead to reconcile us to a holy God through repentance of sin and faith in Him.
· He His people.
· Jesus constantly His people.
Mark 6:7 (NIV) Calling the Twelve to him, he began to send them out two by two and gave them authority over impure spirits.
TEXT:
Mark 6:7-13 (NIV) Then Jesus went around teaching from village to village.7 Calling the Twelve to him, he began to send them out two by two and gave them authority over impure spirits.
8 These were his instructions:“Take nothing for the journey except a staff—no bread, no bag, no money in your belts.9 Wear sandals but not an extra shirt.10 Whenever you enter a house, stay there until you leave that town.11 And if any place will not welcome you or listen to you, leave that place and shake the dust off your feet as a testimony against them.”
12 They went out and preached that people should repent.13 They drove out many demons and anointed many sick people with oil and healed them.
