April 6, 2025

  1. WHERE DO MY COME FROM?
  • Philippians 2:5-11
  • Are we looking for the , or to be in control?

  1. DO I RECOGNIZE THE BIBLE’S VARIOUS GENRES?
  • Taking the Bible doesn’t always mean taking it .

  1. HAVE I EXAMINED THE BIBLE’S TEACHINGS, OR JUST CHERRY-PICKED EXCERPTS?
  • It’s dangerous to let our own judge scripture.
  • It’s arrogant to assume we’re more than all previous generations.

  1. HAVE I THAT THE BIBLE MIGHT KNOW WHAT IT’S TALKING ABOUT?
  • Luke 1:2; Mark 15:21; 1 Corinthians 15:6; Mark 4:38; John 21:8,11

  1. IF GOD EXISTS, AM I WILLING TO LET HIM BE ?
  • How could we have a personal relationship with God if we aren’t willing to allow Him to our thinking?

BIG IDEA: The Bible’s far-reaching influence and impact demand that we give it consideration.

2 Timothy 2:15 –

  • We need to do our best to
  • We’re to God for what we do with Scripture.
