Lamentations 3:19-23 (CSB) Remember my affliction and my homelessness, the wormwood and the poison. ²⁰ I continually remember them and have become depressed. ²¹ Yet I call this to mind, and therefore I have hope: ²² Because of the Lord’s faithful love we do not perish, for his mercies never end. ²³ They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness!

Stay Pure

Hebrews 13:4 (NIV) Marriage should be honored by all, and the marriage bed kept pure, for God will judge the adulterer and all the sexually immoral.

Ephesians 5:3 (NIV) But among you there must not be even a hint of sexual immorality

1 Thessalonians 4:3-5, 7 (CSB) For this is God’s will, your sanctification: that you keep away from sexual immorality, ⁴ that each of you knows how to control his own body in holiness and honor, ⁵ not with lustful passions, like the Gentiles, who don’t know God… For God has not called us to impurity but to live in holiness.

Sexual Immorality: “Porneia” (Gr) sex outside of the relationship in marriage between one man and one woman. (pornography, homosexuality, polyamorous relationships)

Proverbs 5:8 (CSB) Keep your way far from her. Don’t go near the door of her house.

1 Corinthians 6:18-20 (CSB) Flee sexual immorality… You are not your own, ²⁰ for you were bought at a price. So, glorify God with your body.

At some point in your life, you will have to determine, are you going to live by what think about you, or by what thinks about you?
