Lamentations 3:19-23 (CSB) Remember my affliction and my homelessness, the wormwood and the poison. 20 I continually remember them and have become depressed. 21 Yet I call this to mind, and therefore I have hope: 22 Because of the Lord’s faithful love we do not perish, for his mercies never end. 23 They are new every morning;
great is your faithfulness!

Never Give Up

Matthew 19:3-6 (CSB) Some Pharisees approached him to test him. They asked, “Is it lawful for a man to divorce his wife on any grounds?” 4 “Haven’t you read,” he replied, “that he who created them in the beginning made them male and female, 5 and he also said, ‘For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two will become one flesh’? 6 So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore, what God has joined together, let no one separate.”

Marriage is a not a .
(Hebrew) “to out of .”

Luke 22:20 (CSB) In the same way he also took the cup after supper and said, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood, which is poured out for you.

A covenant relationship is a and one.
Marriage is an commitment to an person.

Covenant is based on mutual .

Contract is based on mutual .

Covenant rights and assumes responsibility.

Contract rights and shirks responsibility.

Covenant has the in mind.

Contract has in mind.

Malachi 2:16 (NIV) “The man who hates and divorces his wife,” says the Lord, the God of Israel, “does violence to the one he should protect,” says the Lord Almighty. So be on your guard, and do not be unfaithful.

Love does not give a person what they deserve, it gives them what they need.

1. We will to love.
Love is not a . Love HAS , but love is a .
it then!
Choice’s , feelings .

Colossians 3:14 (CSB) Above all, put on love, which is the perfect bond of unity.

2. We will our relationship.

Matthew 6:33 (CSB) But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be provided for you.

Galatians 6:7-9 (CSB) Don’t be deceived: God is not mocked. For whatever a person sows he will also reap…
Let us not get tired of doing good, for we will reap at the proper time if we don’t give up.

3. We will God.

Psalm 127:1 (CSB) Unless the Lord builds a house, its builders labor over it in vain.
