Two realities we see about God in His calling a people for Himself:

1. The wideness of God’s mercy in the calling of many Gentiles to salvation as the one people of God (vv. 24-26)

2. The certainty of God’s promise in the calling of a Jewish remnant to salvation as the one people of God (vv. 27-29)
