Isaiah – The King Is Coming

I. The period of Isaiah.
170-90 years after Solomon Isaiah was alive during the time end of
King Uzziah (did right), King Jotham (did right), King Ahaz (did wrong),
and into the life of King Hezekiah who stumbled but was a good king as well.

II. God is in reaching out to His people.

III. The prophecy of the is coming.

Isaiah 1:11-15 (ESV)
God’s not happy and Says he is not accepting anything from them! This is pretty Scary.

Isaiah 1:16-20 (ESV)
God Give them a chance and tells them what to do. Next 5 chapters are warnings of what will come because of
their hardened Hearts. Then in Chapter 6 Isaiah Sees our Heavenly Father and must be cleansed.

Isaiah 6:1-7 (ESV)
Then around years after Chapter 6 chapter 7 is Spoken During King Ahaz reign. From this point on, Our Heavenly
Father Gives us Glimpse of the King that is coming, his son Jesus, through Isaiah’s prophecies throughout the rest of the book of Isaiah
