The End and Beginning of the World

Scripture Reading: Rev. 22:1-21

What’s the END GOAL of our life?

Atheist physicist Stephen said: ““The meaning of life is what you choose it to be. It is not somewhere out there, but right between our ears. This makes us the lords of creation.”

• The earth is , with a new heavens interacting with it.
• People who loved and had obedient faith in God are remade, and given new — thanks to what Jesus did to save and reconcile us to God.
• People who trust in Jesus are God’s , now able to inhabit the new earth and live perfectly with God and each other, forever, like a new Garden of Eden – this time with people who choose to obey and love God back!

In the meantime there is:

temptation and sin; Struggle, suffering, pain; to God vs. Disobedience; vs. Defeat (over evil, temptation, suffering, etc.!)

OF course there’s separation of the disobedient people from the obedient — otherwise the new earth would be perpetually unsafe!

Think back to the new earth and heavens…and…

Revelation 21:7 Those who are will inherit all this, and I will be their God and they will be my children.
