Get some Perspective

Scripture Reading: Revelation 7:9-17

Part of what the Book of Revelation does is:

1)Corrects self-delusion

2)Prepares us for eternal life of service to God

REVELATION 4 — 

God, King on Throne,

+ 24 elders on thrones

+ 4 creatures, see all

  WORSHIP the King!

      “Holy, Holy, Holy,

is the Lord God, Almighty

   who was and is and is

             to come!”

REVELATION 5:

God has scroll with 7 seals, opened by Lamb that’s been sacrificed for human’s sin

“…with your blood you purchased for God persons from every tribe and language and people and nation…”

REVELATION 6:

Seal 1  Conquest

Seal 2  War

Seal 3 

Seal 4  Famine

Seal 5 — Martyr’s prayers: “How must we wait!?”

REVELATION 7:

5th and 6th Seals opened by Lamb:

Christians identified,

‘’ for protection!

REVELATION 7:9-17  (Perspective for faithful)

9 After this I looked, and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and before the Lamb. They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands. 10 And they cried out in a loud voice:

“ belongs to our God, who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!”…

AMEN!

Praise and glory and wisdom

and thanks and honor

and power and strength

be to our God for ever and ever. AMEN!

16 ‘Never again will they hunger; never again will they thirst. The sun will not beat down on them,’ nor any scorching heat. 17 For the Lamb at the center of the throne will be their shepherd; he will lead them to springs of living water.  And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.”

7 angels

7 trumpets:

    1-4 – destruction, like Exodus

       5 – Star falls to earth,

       Keys to the ,

       The unleashed!

REVELATION 9:20-21   (6th Angel / Trumpet)

“The rest of mankind who were not killed by these plagues of the work of their hands; they did not stop worshiping demons, and idols of gold, silver, bronze, stone and wood—idols that cannot see or hear or walk. of their murders, their magic arts, their sexual   immorality or their thefts.”

REVELATION 7:17 (Perspective for the faithful…)

“The Lamb at the center of the throne will be their shepherd; he will lead them to springs of living water.  And God will wipe away every from their eyes.”

G-ratitude: Keeping up our daily reading and gratitude prayer, and

R-eflect:      Keeping up our daily reflection times with the Lord as possible,  

O-utreach:  Keeping up our daily efforts of Outreach on Jesus’ behalf as possible,

W-orship:    Since we know from Bible chapters like 1 Chronicles 29 that since the whole Earth is the Lord’s, we all benefit from worship God our Creator — try adding in an invitation to a worship experience and see who God will enable you to connect to our wonderful church this month! An invitation might be:

“Do you have a church you’re connected to? If not, would you be interested at all in coming to mine with me, with ZERO pressure to ever come again?   For me, it’s been a great thing in my life!”
