2 Kings 4:13
“Elisha said to Gehazi, “Tell her, ‘We appreciate the kind concern you have shown
us. What can we do for you? Can we put in a good word for you to the king or to the commander of the army?’” “No,” she replied, “my family takes good care of me.” (NLT)

I. Family Strategies
Listed below are plans families should have for their household.

1. Every family should have a plan for for those in their household.
Deuteronomy 11:18-19
“So commit yourselves wholeheartedly to these words of mine. Tie them to your hands and wear them on your forehead as reminders. 19) Teach them to your children. Talk about them when you are at home and when you are on the road,
when you are going to bed and when you are getting up.” (NLT)

2. Every family should have a plan for for those in their household.
1 Chronicles 28:10-11
“So take this seriously. The Lord has chosen you to build a Temple as his sanctuary. Be strong, and do the work. 11) Then David gave Solomon the plans for the Temple and its surroundings, including the entry room, the storerooms, the upstairs rooms, the inner rooms, and the inner sanctuary—which was the place of atonement.” (NLT)

3. Every family should have a plan for for those in their household.
2 Kings 4:1, 5-7
“One day the widow of a member of the group of prophets came to Elisha and cried out, “My husband who served you is dead, and you know how he feared the Lord. But now a creditor has come, threatening to take my two sons as slaves.” 5) So she did as she was told. Her sons kept bringing jars to her, and she filled one after another. 6) Soon every container was full to the brim! “Bring me another jar,” she said to one of her sons. “There aren’t any more!” he told her. And then the olive oil stopped flowing. 7) When she told the man of God what had happened, he said to her, “Now sell the olive oil and pay your debts, and you and your sons can live on what is left over.” (NLT)

4. Every family should have a plan for for those in their household.
Luke 2:52
“Jesus grew in wisdom and in stature and in favor with God and all the people.” (NLT)

5. Every family should have a plan for for those in their household.
Joshua 24:15
“But if you refuse to serve the Lord, then choose today whom you will serve. Would you prefer the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates? Or will it be the gods of the Amorites in whose land you now live? But as for me and my family, we will serve the Lord.” (NLT)

I am the only one who escaped to tell you.” 16) While he was still speaking, another messenger arrived with this news: “The fire of God has fallen from heaven and burned up your sheep and all the shepherds.
