Genesis 24:28-31
Exodus 2:18-20 read, “When the girls returned to Reul, their father, he asked, “Why are you back so soon today?” “An Egyptian rescued us from the shepherds,” they answered. “And then he drew water for us and watered our flocks.” “Then where is he?” their father asked. “Why did you leave him there? Invite him to come and eat with us.” (NLT) These verses record words spoken by a father to his daughters about Moses. One of the biggest decisions women can make is who they choose to marry. No woman, saved or unsaved, should enter into holy matrimony without wise counsel. This lesson is designed to share traits of a man worthy of bringing home to daddy.
