Detox
Removal of toxic substances from a living organism.

2 Corinthians 6:14-7:1 (CSB)
Do not be yoked together with those who do not believe. For what partnership is there between righteousness and lawlessness? Or what fellowship does light have with darkness?
What agreement does Christ have with Belial? Or what does a believer have in common with an unbeliever?
And what agreement does the temple of God have with idols? For we are the temple of the living God, as God said:
I will dwell and walk among them, and I will be their God, and they will be my people.  ¹⁷ Therefore, come out from among them and be separate, says the Lord; do not touch any unclean thing, and I will welcome you.  ¹⁸ And I will be a Father to you, and you will be sons and daughters to me, says the Lord Almighty.
So then, dear friends, since we have these promises, let us cleanse ourselves from every impurity of the flesh and spirit, bringing holiness to completion in the fear of God.

Psalm 13:2 (NIV)
How long must I wrestle with my thoughts and day after day have sorrow in my heart? How long will my enemy triumph over me?

Romans 8:5-8,12-13 (NLT)
Those who are dominated by the sinful nature think about sinful things, but those who are controlled by the Holy Spirit think about things that please the Spirit. ⁶ So letting your sinful nature control your mindleads to death. But letting the Spirit control your mind leads to life and peace. ⁷ For the sinful nature is always hostile to God. It never did obey God’s laws, and it never will. ⁸ That’s why those who are still under the control of their sinful nature can never please God.
¹² Therefore, dear brothers and sisters, you have no obligation to do what your sinful nature urges you to do. ¹³ For if you live by its dictates, you will die. But if through the power of the Spirit you put to deaththe deeds of your sinful nature, you will live.

Some of you have forgotten how good you can feel spiritually.

Romans 6:13 (NLT)
Do not let any part of your body become an instrument of evil to serve sin. Instead, give yourselves completely to God, for you were dead, but now you have new life. So use your whole body as an instrument to do what is right for the glory of God.

Psalm 1:1-2 (GN)
Happy are those who reject the advice of evil people, who do not follow the example of sinners or join those who have no use for God. ² Instead, they find joy in obeying the Law of the Lord, and they study it day and night.

2 Chronicles 7:14 (NIV)
If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.
