“A Life of Watchful Praying”
Mark 14:38
Our watchful Savior calls His disciples to a watchful life. A watchful life is a prayerful life, and a prayerful life is pursued with purpose. We pray with a foundation built on Jesus’ submission to the will of the Father, and an eye to our “weakness of flesh”. Let’s pause and consider how we as individual disciples and as a local church build a life of watchful prayer.
A life of watchful prayer involves praying …
1. UP to the Lord(MULTILINE)
2. IN to the Body(MULTILINE)
3. OUT to the World(MULTILINE)
∙ For Spiritual Conversation: Which component of watchful prayer do you need to pursue more purposefully? What one thing will you do to grow in that area?
