Scarcity to Increase and Harvest

Prayer for the pastors on behalf of the church and church board- To continue to pray and lift our pastors in this time of renewing and refreshing so they come back refreshed, renewed, strengthened and restored.

Scarcity, strain and spiritual drought is changing to a season of harvest blessing and increase.

God is moving us to a new level for his kingdom.

There is a shift in the atmosphere.

A new season is about to take place for his Glory.

Receiving from God: “Actively accepting and believing his free gifts: salvation, grace, the Holy Spirit, his promises, his plans, healing, and prosperity, rather than earning them.

We need to be ready to receive, God not only wants to get it to you, but he wants to get it through you.

Deuteronomy 8:1-9

  • Moving the Israelites from Scarceness to a land of plenty
  • They were humbled and hungry – God had to move them in a place to receive
  • God was searching for the heart of man
  • God is searching for the heart of man today – pray and worship and seek him from our heart not our heads
  • God wants presence not performance

God speaks to the Israelites again he wants them to enter his promises.

“The harvest and blessing are often missed due to complaining, disobedience or unbelief”

Deuteronomy 28 – the blessings

  • The Blessings will come upon you and accompany you
  • Blessed in the city and country
  • The fruit of your womb, crops of your land, livestock and your basket
  • Blessed when you come in and blessed when you go out.
  • Your enemies will be defeated
  • Blessing on your barns and storehouses and everything you put your hand to
  • He will establish you
  • A promised oath of God

Their words kept them from entering the land he had prepared for them.

  • Murmuring and complaining
  • The words of man can block the blessings – speaking against what God has said can block the increase and blessing

Deuteronomy 8:3

The Manna: “The manna was a type and shadow of Jesus who is the bread of life, “man does not live by bread alone but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of the Lord”

“Humbling must take place in order for God to get you into a place to receive all that he has for you”

James 4:10 – Humble yourselves in the site of the Lord and he shall lift you up

  • God is calling you to humble yourself and hunger after him

“Shifting your focus on him instead of the circumstance, letting go of control so he can get the Glory”

  • God keeps us hungry for growth so he can complete his work in us
  • Hunger was to test the faith of the people; it was to teach dependance on God. They had to trust in his provision daily. God would get the Glory and it would not be by the works of their hands.

Isaiah 1:19 – If you are willing and obedient you shall eat the good of the land

Jesus promises abundant life not just survival

God places a vision within us, and he brings it to pass through faith and his timing, we live in a world and time where we do not want to wait on God’s timing and we become inpatient. The result is that we miss what God has for us.

  • We are not called into survival mode but into peace and relying on him.

Isaiah 26:3

Proverbs 18:21 The tongue has the power of life and death

Numbers 14:2 and Numbers 14: 27-29

“The people spoke it and God did it”

Mark 11:23

“When we speak his word, we speak in his power”

John 14:13 Whatsoever you ask in my name, that will I do that the father is glorified in the son.

  • The Father is glorified because he lives and dwells within us and when we speak according to his word, he honors it to perform it.

When you start shifting your speaking:

Your battlefield will be a place of praise, and what tried to exhaust you will be a place of strength and victory.

  • David defeated Goliath with the power of God and not weapons, by the name of the Lord Almighty, the battle is the Lords.
  • Joshua and the Israelites gave a shout and marched around the city the most defended city in Canaan fell to the ground.
  • The chains broke off Paul and prison doors opened when he started singing and praising God.

Instead of letting difficulties draw you into worry, view them as setting the scene for his glorious interventions.

We are victorious going somewhere to happen, we are not waiting for our victory, we are walking through our victory.

  • God is calling, equipping and training those who are willing and obedient to the call
  • This is where the Spirit meets the truth of his gospel and word. They will work together with one another
  • The Holy Spirit is hovering and moving, when God’s voice speaks power moves forth
    • Everything was spoken into existence from the beginning.
    • When we speak Gods word power moves forth, it sets things into motion.

God says “I heard you before you prayed, he says before you call, I will answer you”

  • We need to hear more with spiritual ears, remove distractions to be able to hear with more clarity. It is not that God is not speaking, we are not listening.

Joshua 5:12

  • They shifted out of manna season into harvest season the very moment the shift happened.
  • Be willing and ready to trust the voice of God so you can make the shift.

Deuteronomy 6

  • I am bringing you into a place you did not plan or work for by your hands, it was nothing that you did or could do. It is by Gods hand; he knows the plans for us. There is nothing that can stop the plan that God has for your life except for you.
  • Faith and trust
    • Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen.
    • Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him; for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

God brings the unseen onto the scene

Mathew 6:33 Seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you- He will supply every need.

  • This is your shift season where God is going to bring you out supernaturally into a harvest where you did not labor for.
  • Restoration is coming – God is taking off the old garments and dressing you with new garments – you are going to look different and feel different.

The moment we ask Jesus to save us

  • There is a spiritual transformation
  • A new identity as a child of God
  • Old desires fade away, you are a new creation
  • A new hunger is born within you

(MULTILINE REVEAL SMALL)

When Jesus died on the cross for all mankind it washed away all the sin

  • The old covenant covered it up, but he washed it away
  • He became that ultimate sacrifice for us – he made a covenant exchange for us.
  • He gave us victory so we would not walk in defeat
  • He doesn’t want us to stay at the cross, he is not there anymore, he is a risen victorious savior

Revelation 1:14 – His head and his hair were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were like a flame of fire, his feet brass and voice the sound of many waters.

  • We have a new covenant relationship with him
  • God gave a part of himself, his only son to be sacrificed for us.

Revelation 1:8 – I am the Alpha and Omega the beginning and the end saith the Lord, which is and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.

Romans 8:11

But if the same Spirit that raised up Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwells in you

John 17:21-23

That they all may be one; as thou Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us that the world may believe that thou have sent me. And the Glory which thou gave me I have given them; that they may be one even as we are one.
