The Year of Increase!                                                         January 4, 2026

In 2026 we are believing God for an increase—not just in numbers, but in our faith, preparation, and expectation. It’s not about how much God will give but becoming the kind of people He can trust with more.

First 7 Days: AG National Week of Prayer! 4th-10th

Theme: Pray for America! 250 years old! July 4th

2026: THE YEAR OF INCREASE!

Biblical Increase: Increase is God expanding our capacity to carry what He wants to release in us.

“We often miss what heaven wants to release because we haven’t prepared to receive what God desires to give.”

Isaiah 54:2-3 (NIV)

  • Isaiah 53: Suffering Servant: Imagery barren woman – Symbol Isreal exiled.
  • rejection, affliction, loss, and sacrifice.
  • Isaiah 54 speaks to these types of people
  • Professing God is not finished with them!

God speaking to those who say

“Increase doesn’t make sense for us.” They can’t see it!

“Enlarge the place of your tent”

Tents symbols of:

  • temporary dwelling
  • mobility
  • A readiness to change!

(MULTILINE REVEAL SMALL)

God was not telling them to build walls. He’s telling them to prepare space.

God tells them: “stretch your tent curtains wide, lengthen your cords, strengthen your stakes.”

God is saying:  “Act like my promise is already increasing in your lives.”

Kingdom Mindset! Says….. People don’t create the increase. They make room for it.

‘Enlarge the place of your tent’ wasn’t a call to strive harder, but a command to get ready for what God has already decided to do!

“Enlarge the Place of Your Tent”

Enlarging requires:

  • additional material
  • extra labor: work!
  • financial cost: money!

“do not hold back!” Why say this?

They were holding back:  Faith, Preparation, Expectation

(MULTILINE REVEAL SMALL)

All Starts with Spiritual Depth: Before God Builds More, He Builds Deeper!

Psalm 92:12-13 (NIV)

  • Depth: spiritual maturity, rootedness, prayer, hunger, obedience

God has never been interested in swelling numbers without strengthening foundations. Every time God increases something outwardly, He deepens something inwardly first.

Revealed “quality over quantity”

A shallow church may grow fast, but it cannot sustain weight. A deep church can carry an increase without collapsing under it.

Increase Depends on Faith! How much we believe for!

Faith isn’t optimism; it’s confidence in God!

(MULTILINE REVEAL SMALL)

Hebrews 11:6 (NKJV)

  • “rewarder”: Greek: “To give what is due!”
  • Means: Not size but reliability… “To give what is due!”

God always increases what we’re willing to believe Him for!

Increase Requires Preparation

Preparation is making room in advance for what God has promised to entrust. Preparation doesn’t make God willing. It makes us ready.”

(MULTILINE REVEAL SMALL)

Preparation Has 3 Layers

1) Spiritual Preparation — Inner Capacity

  • What God builds in us so we can carry more without breaking.

Psalm 24:3-4 (NIV)

“Some of the ‘increase’ we want requires a cleaner vessel, not a louder prayer.”

Increase in Prayer depth (not just frequency)

  • More not always better..
  • Moving “Help me”  to “Shape me” prayers.
  • praying through issues, not just about issues.

Increase in Hunger for God’s Word!

  • God’s Word stabilizes our increase.
  • Increase brings questions, critics, pressure
  • People rooted in God’s Word don’t wobble.

(MULTILINE REVEAL SMALL)

2) Practical Preparation — Outer Capacity

  • Church systems are spiritual when they serve people
  • Better follow-up isn’t “corporate,” it’s shepherding.
  • Better teams aren’t “organization,” they’re discipleship pathways.

“We don’t prepare because we doubt God—we prepare because we honor what He’s sending.”

  • Leadership development: Equip, delegate, train, multiply.
  • Space & structure: Parking, kids check-in, small groups, online pathways, altar team readiness.

Q) If God added 100 families in 90 days, would we disciple them—or just seat them?

(MULTILINE REVEAL SMALL)

3) Relational Preparation — Influence Capacity

  • Trust: People won’t believe you of they don’t trust you!
  • Unity: God entrusts increase to a unified church, because division leaks power.
  • Generosity: People who can’t release “little” can’t be trusted with “more.”

Boils Down to: Prepare the vessel, prepare the room, prepare the people, receive the increase!

The Year of Increase is not about declaring ambition — it’s our response to God’s invitation. It’s God is saying, “Prepare, because I am about to provide more!”

Increase Demands Expectation! Anticipating God’s Response!

Expectation is faith expressed as confident anticipation of God’s response.

The atmosphere of expectancy is the breeding ground of a miracle!

Acts 3:5 (NIV) Begger at the Temple Gate

  • Man didn’t just believe Peter could help. He positioned himself as if help was expected.

Expectation vs. Faith

  • Faith believes God can!
  • Expectation: Knows God will!  Let’s Live Here in 2026

Faith hears the promise; Preparation makes room; Expectation receives the increase!

(MULTILINE REVEAL SMALL)

In 2026

  • Do we expect God to move when we gather?
  • Do we expect lives to be changed?
  • Do we expect increase—or just activity?

Faith believes it. Preparation positions us for it. Expectation anticipates it.

So church, as we step into 2026:

  • let’s go deeper
  • let’s believe bigger
  • let’s lead stronger
  • let’s give freely
  • let’s influence faithfully

Isaiah 54:2 (NIV)

God is not asking us to force increase. He is asking us to make room for what He is already planning to do.
