Application: Waiting Without Wavering
How frequently do we find ourselves mirroring Israel’s frustration during our own seasons of waiting?
If God’s people had to endure centuries of waiting for the first coming of Christ—and that wait culminated in glory—how much more should we place our trust in Him as we await His second coming?
Every delay in God’s schedule presents an opportunity to deepen our dependence on Him and strengthen our faith. Although He may seem slow in His response, we can rest assured that He is never late.

—Consider the cross that triumphed over sin.
—Recall the tomb that transformed into a symbol of victory.
