The Transformed Table – They all ate and were satisfied.
November 16, 2025 / Life StreamMark 6:30-44
__
We are going to see four principles this morning:
- Jesus will take care of His sheep.
- Jesus can take the little we have and .
- Only Jesus can truly .
- When Jesus multiplies there will .
__
Jesus will always take care of His sheep.
__
Mark 6:34
34 When Jesus landed and saw a large crowd, he had compassion on them,
__
We as people are very much like sheep…
Just like sheep, we are dependent creatures.
__
John 10:14
14 “I am the good shepherd; I know my sheep and my sheep know me.”
__
Just like sheep, we need guidance and leading.
__
John 10:3-4
“…the sheep listen to his voice. He calls his own sheep by name and leads them out…and his sheep follow him because they know his voice.”
__
Just like sheep, we tend to wander off.
__
Isaiah 53:6
We all, like sheep, have gone astray,
each of us has turned to our own way…
__
Mark 6:34
…he began teaching them many things.
__
Matthew 14:14
…He had compassion on them and healed their sick.
__
Mark 6:39-40
39 Then Jesus directed them to have all the people sit down in groups . 40 So they sat down in groups of hundreds and fifties.
__
Psalm 23
1 The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing.
2 He makes me lie down in green pastures…
__
Jesus can take the little we have and multiply it exponentially.
__
Mark 6:37
37 But he answered, “You give them something to eat.”
They said to him, “That would take more than half a year’s wages[! Are we to go and spend that much on bread and give it to them to eat?”
__
Mark 6:38
38 “How many loaves do you have?” he asked. “Go and see.”
When they found out, they said, “Five—and two fish.”
__
John 6:9
9 “Here is a boy with five small barley loaves and two small fish, but how far will they go among so many?”
__
Mark 6:41
41 Taking the five loaves and the two fish and looking up to heaven,.
__
Mark 14:22
22 While they were eating, Jesus took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and gave it to his disciples, saying, “Take it; this is my body.”
__
Luke 24:30-31
30 When he was at the table with them, he took bread, gave thanks, broke it and began to give it to them. 31 Then their eyes were opened and they recognized him…
__

11 Give us today our daily bread.”
__
John 6:35
35 Then Jesus declared, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry…
__
Jesus can take the little we have and multiply it exponentially.
__
Mark 6:42
42 They all ate and were
__
Satisfied – to be filled, satiated, stuffed full.
__
Only Jesus can truly satisfy our needs.
__
When Jesus multiplies there will always be excess.
__
Mark 6:42-44
42 They all ate and were satisfied, 43 and the disciples picked up twelve basketfuls of broken pieces of bread and fish. 44 The number of the men who had eaten was five thousand.
__
Jesus will always take care of His sheep.
Jesus can take the little we have and multiply it exponentially.
Only Jesus can truly satisfy our needs.
When Jesus multiplies there will always be excess.

I was personally encouraged this week by the shepherding ministry of Jesus. He cares for us and promises to take care of our needs. I also recognize that I tend to wander off at times, and I am thankful that Jesus graciously calls me back to Him. I pray you are encouraged and blessed this weekend, and may you find time to spend with our Good Shepherd. You Are Loved!
