“GOD, WHERE ARE YOU?”

POWERFUL PRAYERS – Part 3

My God, my God, why have you abandoned me? Why are you so far away when I groan for help? Every day I call to you, my God, but you do not answer. Every night I lift my voice, but I find no relief. Psalm 22:1-2 (NLT)

The Bible does have some key Principles:

1. God’s is different than mine.

For you, a thousand years are as a passing day, as brief as a few night hours. Psalm 90:4 (NLT)

2. God might have a for me.

“For I know the plans I have for you,” says the LORD. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. Jeremiah 29:11 (NLT)

3. I might have in my life.

If I had not confessed the sin in my heart, the Lord would not have listened. Psalm 66:18 (NLT)

4. I might have for my prayer.

When you ask, you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, that you may spend what you get on your pleasures. James 4:3 (NIV)

5. God might be testing my .

The testing of your faith produces perseverance. James 1:3 (NIV)

6. It may be a matter of .

Then he (Angel) said, “Don’t be afraid, Daniel. Since the first day you began to pray for understanding and to humble yourself before your God, your request has been heard in heaven.
