Rooted Together

Jesus is OVER:

All creation (Col. 1:15).

Everything created in heaven and on earth (Col. 1:16).

Thrones, powers, rulers, authorities (Col. 1:16).

The church (Col. 1:18).

Supreme over life and resurrection (Col. 1:18).

All things – (Col. 1:17).

Reconciliation of the world – (Col 1:20).

(Colossians 2:6-7) So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.

1. Faith flourishes in

Our faith grows not just in moments, but in movement, walking daily with Him.

2. Faith flourishes in

(Colossians 2:6-7) continue to live your lives in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught…

(1 Thessalonians 5:11) Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.

(Colossians 2:7) rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.

(Matthew 7:24-27) 24 “Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. 25 The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock. 26 But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand. 27 The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell with a great crash.”
