Today: Let It Flow – Let It Fly!

No Holding Back!

  • Giving everything we have
  • Left everything on the field

People don’t hold back when they know the moment matters.

What about our spiritual lives?

Some of us are walking through life holding back our worship, our gifts, our talents, our love, or even our testimony! Some would rather be safe than vulnerable. But God is looking for people who say, “This moment matters!” It’s not about being reckless—it’s about being willing. God moves after the surrender, not before it.

About Supernatural Release!

Example: Tithing!

  1. “What are you still holding on to that’s blocking what God wants to release?”

The Holy Spirit doesn’t want to stay confined to our Sunday experience any longer! There’s a river that needs to be released. We need to let the Spirit of God flow freely in us, through us, around us, and beyond us!”

  • Beyond us is the challenge! -> vulnerable!

Because our faith is sometimes determined by how others see us; perception often determines permission! Too often, people only give themselves permission to flow in the Spirit, worship freely, or step into their calling if they believe others will approve. But when you let perception control your permission, you end up living restrained, not released.

God didn’t call us to move when it’s safe. He called us to move when He speaks. We need to stop waiting for everyone else to validate what God has already anointed.

God Sets Us Up!

Romans 8:9 (NIV)

You are sealed by the Holy Spirit

Further Experience….

Baptism in the Holy Spirit

Acts 2:4 (NIV)

  • Disciples were saved
  • A Spirit-empowered release
  • Why? Power, Boldness, and Overflow (beyond you)

Clarification

Salvation puts the Spirit in you. Spirit baptism lets Him flow through you. One gives you identity (salvation)—the other gives you boldness (spirit baptism).

That’s Just the beginning!

God never intended His Spirit to enter you and not flow from you!

John 7:38 (NIV)

When you believe in Jesus, the Spirit doesn’t just touch you—He flows from the depths of you. You become a conduit of God’s Spirit, not just a container.

There comes a time when what God has placed in you becomes too powerful to stay silent about. You’ve been revived. You’ve been filled. Now it’s time to Let It Flow. No more holding back!

Jeremiah 20:9 (NLT)

  1. Q) Sometimes, we allow the sin of silence!

Psalm 32:3

Three things happen when the Spirit flows beyond us.

IT REACHES:

Acts 8:26–40 — Philip and the Ethiopian Eunuch

  • The Holy Spirit sends Philip from a revival in Samaria into the desert.
  • Finds a high-ranking Ethiopian official reading Isaiah but not understanding.
  • Philip explains the gospel, and the man believes and is baptized on the spot.

The Spirit flows outward to draw people inward.

When the Spirit of God flows beyond us…

IT RESTORES:

Ezekiel 37:1–10: The valley of dry bones

  • A vision God takes prophet Ezekiel to a valley filled with dry, scattered bones.
  • Symbol death, defeat, and hopelessness.
  • God asks him, “Can these bones live?” Ezekiel replies, “Only You know.”
  • Then God commands Ezekiel to speak life over the bones.
  • He speaks, the bones begin to rattle, reconnect, and take on flesh and skin.
  • But still have no life.
  • So, God tells him to speak to the breath (meaning Spirit)
  • When he does, the Spirit enters them, and they rise—a vast, living army.

Ezekiel 37:14 (NIV)

The Spirit flows into broken places and makes them whole again.

  • Lives, minds, marriages, ministries,

When the Spirit of God flows beyond us…

IT REVIVES:

Mark 2:1–12: Healing of the Paralytic in Capernaum

  • Four friends break through a roof to get their paralyzed friend to Jesus.
  • Jesus not only heals him—He forgives his sin in front of religious leaders.

Mark 2: 12 (NIV)

This amazed everyone and they praised God, saying, “We have never seen anything like this!”

“They came to hear a teacher… but they left having witnessed the Healer. One man’s breakthrough turned a crowded house into a house of praise.”

Testimony

When you let the Spirit flow, He won’t just fill you—He’ll flow beyond you. And wherever He flows, He reaches the lost, restores the broken, and revives the dry.

John 7:38 (NIV)

38 Whoever believes in me, as Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them.”

Declaration!

“I’ve held back long enough. What God put in me is coming out. I will not live muted. I will not die full. No more holding back. I proclaim the Holy Spirit to flow in me, through me, around me, and beyond me!”
