INTRODUCTION:
TEXT:
Mark 7:24-30 (NIV) 24 Jesus left that place and went to the vicinity of Tyre. He entered a house and did not want anyone to know it; yet he could not keep his presence secret.25 In fact, as soon as she heard about him, a woman whose little daughter was possessed by an impure spirit came and fell at his feet.26 The woman was a Greek, born in Syrian Phoenicia. She begged Jesus to drive the demon out of her daughter.
27 “First let the children eat all they want,” he told her, “for it is not right to take the children’s bread and toss it to the dogs.”
28 “Lord,” she replied, “even the dogs under the table eat the children’s crumbs.”
29 Then he told her, “For such a reply, you may go; the demon has left your daughter.”
30 She went home and found her child lying on the bed, and the demon gone.

3. A MOTHER’S
Mark 7:29-30 (NIV) 29 Then he told her, “For such a reply, you may go; the demon has left your daughter.”
30 She went home and found her child lying on the bed, and the demon gone.
Matthew 15:28(NIV)Then Jesus said to her, “Woman, you have great faith! Your request is granted.” And her daughter was healed at that moment.
God r faith by responding to us!
Mark 2:5 (NIV)“When Jesus saw[his friends’] their faith, He said to the paralytic, ‘Son, your sins are forgiven you.’”
CONCLUSION:
Hebrews 11:6 (NIV) reminds us of the importance of faith in God: And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.
Two things about faith…
· APPROACHES JESUS
Hebrews 4:16(NKJV)Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
Are you enough to cry out to Jesus?
Matthew 15:23 (NIV)Jesus did not answer a word.
John C. Maxwell says, “A faith that has not been cannot be .”
James 1:2-4 (NIV)Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that thetesting of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.
1 Peter 1:6-7 (NIV) says, …though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials. These have come so that the proven genuineness of your faith—of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire—may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed.
