How God Views Forgiveness
Leon Morris
“Jesus died with the cry of the Victor on His lips. This is not the moan of the defeated, nor the sigh of patient resignation. It is the triumphant recognition that He has now fully accomplished the work that He came to do.”

Jesus saying, “Tetelestai (It is finished)” was a cry of a winner. Death was defeated. The temple curtain was torn from top to bottom, signifying the direct access to God through a relationship with Jesus. In essence, the prison doors were opened, and the sinner can be freed of the bondage of sin and have a new life in Christ Jesus.
The resurrection of Jesus demands a response. How will you respond? Do you know Him? Have you asked Jesus to forgive you of your sins? If not, would you do that today?
You can pray this prayer: “Lord Jesus, I repent of my sins and surrender my life. Wash me clean. I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. That he died on the cross for my sins and rose again on the third day for my victory, I believe that in my heart and make confession with my mouth, that Jesus is my Savior and my Lord.”
If you prayed to receive Jesus, please let us know. We want to celebrate with you. Also, we have a gift for you, a “What’s Your Next Step?” booklet.
