Joy In The Journey

“FILLED UP!”

(Ephesians 5:18) Don’t be drunk with wine, because that will ruin your life. Instead, be filled with the Holy Spirit

Let this be a year that you determine that you are going to fill your life with the things of God:

  • This is going to be a year of prayer
  • This is going to be a year of fasting
  • This is going to be a year of devotion to God

(Philippians 2:1) Is there any encouragement from belonging to Christ? Any comfort from his love? Any fellowship together in the Spirit? Are your hearts tender and compassionate?

(Philippians 2:2) Then make me truly happy by agreeing wholeheartedly with each other, loving one another, and working together with one mind and purpose.

(Philippians 2:3) Don’t be selfish; don’t try to impress others. Be humble, thinking of others as better than yourselves.

(Philippians 2:4) Don’t look out only for your own interests, but take an interest in others, too.

(Proverbs 13:20) Walk with the wise and become wise; associate with fools and get in trouble.

(Philippians 2:5) You must have the same attitude that Christ Jesus had.

(Philippians 2:6-7) Though he was God, he did not think of equality with God as something to cling to. Instead, he gave up his divine privileges; he took the humble position of a slave and was born as a human being.

(John 15:10-11) If you keep my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commands and remain in his love. I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete.

(Philippians 2:10-11) Therefore, God elevated him to the place of highest honor and gave him the name above all other names, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue will declare that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

(James 4:10) Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up in honor.

(1 Peter 5:6) So humble yourselves under the mighty power of God, and at the right time he will lift you up in honor.
