I. We are living in the

II. The last days are supercharged by the

John 16:7 (NKJV) Nevertheless I tell you the truth. It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send Him to you.

III. The last days require a church
1. A church that knows
1 Peter 2:9 (NKJV) But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;
2. A church with
Acts 2:17 – 18 (NKJV) And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God,
That I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, Your young men shall see visions, Your old men shall dream dreams. And on My menservants and on My maidservants
I will pour out My Spirit in those days; And they shall prophesy.

1. What emotions do you experience when you hear the term “last days”? Why do you think you feel that way?
2. Do you ever wish that you could talk to Jesus face to face? How would that change your relationship with him?
3. Do you believe it is to your advantage that Jesus is no longer physically on the planet? What do you think went through the disciples minds when Jesus said this?
4. How should the day of Pentecost affect our lives? Why do we seem to fall short of these ideals?
5. As a Christian, do you have a vision for your life? Is it connected to the church?
