Sanctity of Life

Chapel Pointe Statement of Faith

Section 3.1  WE BELIEVE that all human life is sacred and created by God in His image. Human life is of inestimable worth in all its dimensions, including pre-born babies, the aged, the physically or mentally challenged, and every other stage or condition from conception through natural death. We are therefore called to defend, protect, and value all human life (Ps. 139)

We are to value and love every life as God values and loves very life.

Israel

Today, Israel doesn’t represent a united people with faith. But, we advocate for Israel’s right to exist as a nation and to defend themselves, while remembering the promise of God to bless those who bless them due to Abraham’s seed (Genesis 12). We are to pray for the peace of Jerusalem.

Sexuality

Sin is the problem.

1 Corinthians 6:9-11 says, “Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, 10 nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. 11 And such were some of you. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.”

Sin deceives and misaligns our heart.
